How Students Progress

MONTH 1-2

MONTH 3-4

Analysis Techniques

This phase introduces valuation methods and ratio analysis. Students practice with real companies, learning to calculate intrinsic value using different models. We emphasize understanding limitations of each approach rather than treating formulas as magic formulas.

MONTH 5-6

Industry Context

Students learn how different sectors require different analytical approaches. Banking analysis differs significantly from mining or technology companies. We study regulatory environments, competitive dynamics, and sector-specific metrics that professional analysts actually use.

MONTH 7-8

Portfolio Projects

The final phase involves independent research projects. Students choose companies to analyze, present findings to peers, and defend their investment thesis. This mirrors real-world analyst work and builds confidence in their analytical abilities.

Spring Program

Extended program with additional industry placement component. Students work on real projects with partner firms while completing coursework. Limited to 20 participants.
